Visitors!

Meet the Lady to my Tramp. Her name really is Lady. She came down to visit with Adam this weekend! Sorry about the alien eyes, but these two don't exactly stay still when they are around each other.

Puppy :(

Today when I went to take Dex out I was greeted with this sad face. Apparently someone decided he just wouldn't be a good dog even though he was as sweet as he could be. Mom is on "get puppy picked up detail" all the way in NC. I gave him some food and water but then had to leave to take a stats test. I hope he finds a home.

Lookout

Dexter has recently discovered the fun of barking at people who may or may not actually be in the parking lot. The best though, is that he knows my friend Allie's horn when she locks her car. The minute she honks it he does a barking flying squirrel move off the couch that never gets old. He then continues to launch himself off the ground barking like it's going to be a bad person, only to cuddle up with her the minute she sits down on the couch. Spaz, just like his mom.

Sick day snuggles

Why yes Tuesday, I would like to wake up and vomit multiple times! It's not like I have a stats test Thursday and really needed to be in class this morning or want to get my work hours done early this week or wanted free pancakes from IHOP. Noooo worries! What's up stomach virus!? Dex is staying close. I think he can tell something is wrong.

Sunday Morning

Dexter and I have school work to get done. Unfortunately, there is an NCIS marathon on. Hmmm PR management or Mark Harmon.... hmmmm... the school work will get done. For now, we are relaxing.

I love the mornings Dexter doesn't wake up super early to go out! I am trying to figure out exactly what triggers him wanting to get up at 5am, so I am undertaking an experiment... will get back to you with results. (No, the reason is not as simple as drinking or eating before bed because I take up his food an water well in advance of bed.) Happy Saturday everyone!

Due to a late night Kroger run for a friend and an early morning to study I am exhausted and going to enjoy and afternoon nap. Dex is picking up new weird sleeping positions and this was too cute not to capture.

Late night update...

Dexter's method of sleeping tonight changed from the normal "curled up spoon" to getting so tired from walking halfway across me that he just layed down and is making himself like a hairy belt. Weird? Yes. Warm? Yes? Heavy? A little bit but I will survive. Crazy, crazy little man.
